This is a shot of the double cannon roll that we shot in Talladega, Alabama in September 2005. Both race cars flipped 6 times. No one was hurt and no cameras were destroyed in this one. The blur that goes by at the bottom of the screen is the C2 High Speed Chase Car with Alan Padelford at the wheel, Maurice McGuire remote operating the camera from the passenger seat, Gary Ushino controlling remote focus from the open cockpit jump seat in the back and Brian "Moose" Musseter controlling camera remote speed ramp effect. I believe there were 7 cameras all together working this shot: 3 eyemo crash box cameras that you can see being hopped over by the tumbling cars, 1 hand held camera in the audience point of view, 2 long lens cameras far away and the 1 on the C2 with Gary Ushino.
